Volunteering with Earnt
Earn time in the trees by helping the earth
There’s nothing we love more at Elmore Court than a good trade: a day of honest, muddy work for an evening wrapped in the kind of calm only a treehouse can give. That’s why we’ve partnered with Earnt - a brilliant scheme that turns volunteering into stays, swims and experiences at ReWild Things.

What the partnership is
Earnt connects people who want to help with meaningful conservation work with places that need hands-on help. At Elmore Court, that means you can volunteer on estate projects - restoring land, planting trees, removing invasive species, building wildlife homes and earn rewards you can spend on nights in our treehouses*, wild swimming sessions, sauna time or other ReWild Things experiences.
Why we love it
This is not transactional tourism. It’s a simple, generous loop: you give time and care to the land, the land gives back in the form of habitat, biodiversity and an extra night in the treetops. You’ll leave with muddy boots, a clearer head and the satisfying knowledge that your stay was literally earned.
What you might do
Planting and maintaining native trees and hedgerows
Clearing invasive plants to let wildflowers return
Helping to restore pond edges and wetlands
All tasks will be supervised by our team and Earnt coordinators and tailored to fitness levels and experience.
What you’ll earn
Hours spent volunteering convert into rewards via Earnt - typically credits that can be exchanged for nights in a treehouse, wild swimming sessions or other ReWild Things experiences. Rewards vary by activity and season; Earnt manages the crediting so everything is fair and trackable.
Who can take part
Anyone aged 18+ (some family-friendly opportunities may be available - please check specific listings). No previous conservation experience required; just curiosity, sensible footwear and a willingness to learn.
Practicalities
Meet at the ReWild Things hub at Elmore Court.
Tasks generally run as half-day or full-day sessions.
Wear outdoor clothing and bring a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide gloves, tools and training.
We ask that volunteers sign a simple waiver and follow safety guidance from our team.
A note on impact
Your hours aren’t just helping us look pretty - they accelerate habitat recovery, improve soil health, increase biodiversity and help build resilience on the estate. In short: you’re doing something genuinely useful.
